Torie is our Children’s Ministry Director at Mountain View. Originally from Lakewood, Colorado, she moved to Montana to attend MSU for school. (Go Cats!) During her time in college, she began serving as a Children’s Director at another church, where she fell in love with children’s ministry. She learned how her passion for teaching and her faith could come together to help build God’s Kingdom. Torie earned her B.S. in Elementary Education K–8 and went on to teach in both public and private schools before the Lord called her out of the classroom and back into children’s ministry.
Torie met her husband, Adam, during her first week of college and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Together, they have a daughter, Joanna and a sweet dog named Denali. As a family they enjoy rafting, camping, gardening, playing games, and spending time with friends and family. Torie’s heart is to see every child have a chance to learn the joy of the Gospel, and come to a true relationship with Jesus!
