Dr. Jim Keena was senior pastor of the Evangelical Free Church (Redeemer Church) of Bozeman from 2008 through early 2020 when he joined the faculty at Yellowstone Theological Institute. He completed his Doctor of Ministry at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, in 2024. His primary area of study is preaching. Prior to coming to Bozeman, he was associate pastor for three years at Long Grove (Illinois) Community Church and senior pastor for 13 years at Siloam Springs Bible Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He and his wife, Kim, have been married for over 40 years and have seven children, four sons-in-law, and ten grandchildren. He loves traveling, taking photos, hiking, and cheering for his favorite teams – the Montana State University Bobcats and St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.
