Averie is our Associate College Director at MVCC. She was raised in Colorado and grew up attending Mountain View Community Church in Fort Collins, where she met the Lord while involved in the Jr. High ministry. She moved to Bozeman in 2023 to attend school and be a part of Mountain View. However, while she would never have admitted it, she largely moved to be close to her now husband, Daniel, who she married in the spring of 2025. Averie has grown to know and desire the Lord in fresh ways as she’s walked with Him over the last 8 years, and she has a deep longing to see the body of Christ built up in truth, love, and authenticity. The Lord cultivated in her a passion for students as she navigated the trials of her own college years, and He has concreted her desire to see young adults transformed by Jesus. She is so grateful to be a part of MVCC staff, and is excited to be a part of the work He has laid out for her!
In her free time, Averie enjoys reading, running, and finding new recipes to cook. She is a lover of quality time with friends and family, as well as the many adventures Dan takes her on. Her heart is to see the church walk in depth with Christ, and, from there, move outward into a desperate world.
