Dr. Ashley Denton is married to Becky and has five children. Currently, he is serving as a bi-vocational church planter in Bozeman, MT. Having grown up in a small mountain town near Aspen, CO he loves the outdoors. He is the author of Christian Outdoor Leadership: Theology, Theory, and Practice and The Personality of Jesus: How to Introduce Young People to Jesus Christ and Help them Grow in their Faith, and currently serves as the COO of Nexus International and founder of Wilderness Ministry Institute. Ashley has a Doctoral degree in Missions and Cross Cultural Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a Master’s in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from University of Arizona. Involved in over 65 countries, his ministry empowers local leaders to develop disciple-making youth ministries. He was formerly on staff with Young Life for 15 years and served as their National Director in New Zealand.
